We offer full nappy changing facilities at Clarendon Children's Centre and our community venues. Should you require assistance please speak to a member of staff.
We aim to keep all of our sessions as affordable as possible for all families and where we are able to do so we offer free sessions. For our weekly activities there is a cost of £2 per family, however we do offer concessions so please speak to a member of staff in confidence should you require it. Specific courses such as Baby Massage are individually priced and wherever possible payable in advance of the course starting. Concessions are also available for these courses if necessary, more information can be provided by any member of staff who are happy to help.
We politely request that no buggies are brought into the Children's Centre to ensure the safety and comfort of all centre users. We have two large shelters to the left of the Children's Centre main entrance, if you require support to access the centre please ask a member of staff.
Clarendon Children's Centre is to committed to encouraging healthy eating and operating a 'nut free' policy in line with Clarendon Primary School. To help us achieve this we ask that only food provided by the children's centre is consumed at our venues. We offer healthy drinks and snacks within our sessions and, if you or children have any allergies or needs, please speak to a member of staff so we can assist you.
There is no parking in the grounds but we are a 2 minute walk from Ashford High Street where there are parking options available.
We are open from 8.30am-5.00pm, Monday to Friday. The Children's Centre activities are run over 50 weeks a year, with the centre closed for the last week of August and Christmas week.
The centre is a safe and secure place for your child to play. All children must be supervised by an adult.
You can get a cold drink during play and learn sessions. We also offer a fruit snack to the children.
We run two additional sessions: one at St Matthews Church Hall and the other is at Ashford Baptist Church. Please see the timetable for times.
The staff are really friendly and we will always accommodate a first time visitor to the centre.
We are open all year round. However, our timetable does change termly so please check sessions regularly and see our flyers for activities outside term time.
