I am the Centre Advisor for the Children's Centre and am often the first person families have contact with when they join the centre, and have come to know many of them well along the way as I have been here for over seven years. I can offer support for applying for benefits, finding activities in the local area and talk you about options for applying for childcare. I have two grown up children of my own and when I am not in the centre I love to spend time with my family; I am a doting Nanny to two grandchildren. I also like to travel.
I am the Early Years Teacher and Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator for the centre. I am also responsible for delivering the Hear Me Chatter speech & language group and work closely with all the local primary schools to deliver Transition workshops for children starting school. I have two grown up sons who are studying at University.

I am a part time Outreach Worker here as the centre. I enjoy being able to support the children and families who use the centre and getting involved in the groups and activities running here. Prior to starting my role , I was a very active user of the centre as a parent and could often be found attending Play and Learn, ActivTots and courses with my two young children. I also live locally, so am passionate about supporting families to access local services to help their children learn, develop and thrive.
I work at the Children's Centre on a Friday as a Centre Advisor and have been here since October 2016. You will find me at the Reception desk greeting families who are using the centre and talking to new families about the services we offer. Prior to this role I worked as a volunteer in the centre's crèche which parents can use whilst they attend courses here. I live locally and have 2 young children so most of my spare time is spent keeping them busy!
